The Middle Swabian Alb in the district of Reutlingen lies between the Neckar and the Danube and has a lot to offer, especially for cyclists. Forests, meadows and fields make the Alb a special experience alongside gentle mountains and lovely valleys. In addition to cultural landscapes worthy of protection, which UNSECO awarded with the titles Global Geopark and Biosphere Reserve Swabian Alb, the Middle Swabian Alb offers cyclists above all Celtic settlements, palaces, monasteries, fortresses and ruins, as well as observation towers and rocky outcrops with fantastic panoramas. The Alb also offers you to traditional cities and ancient villages.

Regardless of whether you are a sporty cyclist or take the time to pay attention to the little things along the way, every cyclist or e-biker will get their money's worth here. Of course, there are also exciting and varied routes for mountain bikers. A total of 18 bike tours, two e-bike tours and the ADFC-certified “Mountain Beer Tour” (advertised in the current bike brochure of the Mythos Schwäbische Alb tourism association) promise cyclists a magnificent experience in the midst of nature. All tours are fully signposted.

The "Vordere Alb-Radweg" (R14) follows a 52 km route in a constant ascent und descent of the Uracher Alb. The start climbs the plateau of the Alb and at the end of the tour, it follows the Erms river downstream.
