Visitors Tax

As a recognised climatic health resort and spa in the heart of the UNESCO Swabian Alb Biosphere Reserve, a spa tax is levied in Bad Urach and its districts by the municipal spa administration. This tax is used to invest in various facilities and events that benefit tourists, such as the cleaning and maintenance of the park and the infrastructure of the town. The spa tax must be paid by every guest, regardless of whether the facilities are used.
