Wegbeschreibung
We cycle from the car park P15 on the Neuffener Straße in the direction of Hülben. After approx. 250 m we follow the cycle path R14 into the Ostendstraße. We stay on the bike path through the Elsach settlement, past the campsite and into the forest. Leaving the cycle path at the R 14-Hülben junction and continuing straight on to the Kohlteichweiher; from there our path leads us slightly downhill to the left. After approx. 750 m the path turns sharply to the right past the Kaltentalhäusle to the Kaltentalweiher. Leaving the pond behind us, we turn left at the next junction and left again at the horse farm to the main road. Cycling on , after the hiking car park, we turn right into the Büchelbronner Sträßle to the hiking shelter, keep left until we reach the road again. Turning right, we cycle briefly on the main road but after about 250 m turn right again into the forest to the Falkensteiner cave. Here the path gets a bit bumpy and just before it gets too steep, we park our bike and have to walk up the few steps to the cave where we can admire the impressive entrance portal. Back at the bikes, we take the right-hand path to the Falkensteiner car park and turn left onto the main road. The first opportunity to turn right takes us back into the forest, past the campsite in the direction of Bad Urach and our starting point.
