Wegbeschreibung
We begin our tour opposite the hiker's car park and hike up the field path in the direction of the Flaschenberg. At the Schillerlinde (760 m) the vista expands taking in the views over Bad Urach-Sirchingen. The Schorrenbuckel (760 m) rises above the village and the forest behind already marks the Albtrauf to the Ermstal.
Our path now makes a slight right turn and we continue hiking on the plateau between pastures and fields to a wooded area.
Staying left along the edge of the forest we then turn right hiking downhill into the woodlands and enjoy the sounds of nature around us.
After a while our path makes a sharp right turn, at the end of the bend, Tour 19 joins our path and now runs parallel.
Soon there is a clearing to the right of the path, the Circular hiking trail 20 (Sirchinger waterfall - Blankenhorn ruins) runs through it and also joins our route.
Another short stretch through the forest and we are already at the foot of the Flaschenberg (766 m). On the right you can see the first houses in Sirchingen, which belong to the Stockach residential area. In a slight depression near a group of trees, Tour 20 branches off to the right, while we stay on the path that leads straight ahead, running further along the northern slope of the Perlenberg and then joining the Sirchingen-Rietheim/Dottingen road at the Blasdenberg hiking car park. Here we end our tour.
Ausrüstung
Sturdy shoes, hiking poles and sure-footedness are recommended for this tour.
Sicherheitshinweise
Our circular tours are not walking, but hiking trails. Sturdy shoes, hiking poles and sure-footedness are recommended for all tours, particularly after and during rainfall and in the winter months, the limestone rock and soil can be very slippery, especially on slopes. We also point out the presence of natural forest hazards. We ask you to exercise caution.
In an emergency, always dial the number 112. If necessary, please mention that the people involved in the accident are in inaccessible terrain, so that the Bad Urach mountain rescue service is also informed and there is no unnecessary loss of time during the rescue.
On the hiking signposts of our trails, you will find a plaque with the exact location number on it. The location number consists of the letters BU and a max. 4-digit number. Communicating this number to the control centre in an emergency, helps to provide assistance faster.
