The Kunstmühlefels (684 m) lounging benches lie on a mountain outcrop, the Mohrenteich, a small narrow side valley to the Ermstal. The view from here of the Ermstal with Bad Urach and the opposite side of the valley, is magnificent.
The Kunstmühlefels takes its name from the Kunstmühle (Art mill) below in the Seeburg Valley. The "Kunst" (art) has nothing to do with art, of course, it got this name because of the mill's "artificial" drive.
