Experience late Celtic history up close at the information center, covering over 350 square meters: Films, audio features, and simulations bring the Celts and the region’s history to life. Architecturally, the center is inspired by a burial mound. Installations and reconstructions invite you to explore this multimedia exhibition highlight: Step into scenes of Celtic village life and embark on a journey through time. The Heidengraben Center is wheelchair accessible and barrier-free. In our bistro, you can enjoy specialty coffees, pastries, and a selection of seasonal delights.
Right in front of the information center, the Experience Field Region at Heidengraben invites you to discover archaeological traces and structures in the nature of the Swabian Alb. Follow the 6 km-long, app-supported Celtic Experience Trail with audio stations, climb the Draufsicht Tower for a panoramic view of the Oppidum, and explore the still-visible ramparts and the reconstructed Zangentor G in Erkenbrechtsweiler.
