Direct walking route between Spa Centre and City Centre

At the end of the car park, use the zebra crossing to cross Baederstrasse and then turn right onto Immanuel-Kant-Strasse.

Follow this to the end and then turn left. Follow Max-Eyth-Straße until it turns into frischlinweg and later into Eichhaldestraße.

The path leads past the Ermstal Clinic in Eckisstrasse. Follow this street to the end and turn right into Gustav-Magenwirth-Weg.

At the end of the street, turn left into Stuttgarter Straße and follow this street until you reach the Bismarckstraße intersection.

Bismarckstraße leads past the Residenzschloss and the Entdeckerwelt Tourist Info. From here you can explore the city center of Bad Urach.

It is a city walk. No special equipment is necessary.

Some of the paths signposted by the Bad Urach spa administration are
walking routes, however the majority are real hiking trails which require sturdy shoes, hiking poles and sure-footedness. Particularly after and during rainfall and in the winter months, the limestone rock and soil can be very slippery, especially on slopes. We also point out the presence of natural forest hazards. We ask you to exercise caution.

In an emergency, always dial the number 112. If necessary, please mention that the people involved in the accident are in inaccessible terrain, so that the Bad Urach mountain rescue service is also informed and there is no unnecessary loss of time during the rescue.

On the hiking signposts of our trails, you will find a plaque with the exact location number on it. The location number consists of the letters BU and a max. 4-digit number. Communicating this number to the control centre in an emergency, helps to provide assistance faster.
