The Church of St Amandus in Bad Urach is one of the most important late-Gothic churches in Swabia. It was built during the reign of Duke Eberhard im Barte of Württemberg, who was born and lived in Urach.
The building was completed around 1500 by the stonemason and architect Peter von Koblenz. Its treasures include important decorative works by the "Uracher Meisterkreis", the local circle of master craftsmen.
The church is accessible to visitors via a ramp.
