Linsenberghof open pig barn
We undertake to practice environmentally-friendly farming and animal welfare. Our core business is keeping breeding sows and rearing piglets on straw bedding in generously-sized, airy barns. We grow all our fodder cereals (barley, wheat and oats) ourselves. We only buy seed that is free of genetic modification and do not buy commercial feed, to ensure that our regional products are of the highest quality.
Beschreibung
Welcome to the Linsenberghof.
Our farm lies on the edge of the Swabian Alb mountains in Hengen, a district of Bad Urach, at the centre of the unique UNESCO-listed Swabian Alb biosphere area.
In addition to crispy roast suckling pig and home-made preserved sausage, we now offer half-pigs for pre-order.
In our new pig barn you can get up close to our pigs and watch them from above – a unique perspective, the only one of its kind in Southern Germany. A glazed viewing platform allows you to watch all our animals, from the smallest piglet to the largest boar.
