Beschreibung
The buildings of Bad Urach are witnesses to a rich cultural and historical past. In particular, they are memories of the time as a residential city and capital of Baden-Württemberg. During the division of Württemberg (1442 – 1482), the Counts of Württemberg-Urach resided in the city. For centuries, however, Urach was also an administrative, commercial and trade center for a large part of the Middle Swabian Jura. In order to open up the city's rich and interesting history to visitors, two routes, the "Residenzrundwege", have been created through the city. Circular route A leads through what was once the stately and also the oldest part of the city.

You can get a city guide to the Residenzrundweg routes (city map and detailed historical information on the individual stations) free of charge from the Bad Urach Tourist Information.
