Wegbeschreibung
Our hike begins at Bad Urach train station (P+R train station car park). From there we start a relaxed hike along the valley floor, heading out of Bad Urach. At the end of the path we must cross over the main road and can see the large business premises of the company URACA located there on the left-hand side. Cutting through their business car park, the "Green path" starts properly, a beautiful wooded route running alongside the Erms river, past the Künkele mill. After a short stretch, the impressive Kunstmühlefels is already visible on our left. Along the path their are benches that invite you to stop and linger and take in the view over the Erms to the Kunstmühlenfels. We continue along the Green path until we are faced with a left hand path taking us over a picturesque bridge crossing the Erms and a right hand path, leading us parallel to the main road. After approx 300 m along this pathe we cross the 465 main road and climb on a woodland parth we towards the Kunstmühlenfelsen. Staying below the Kunstmühle rockface, following a narrow path until we come out again on the edge of town. From there we follow a zig zag path leading us away from the forest, back toward the city centre. We follow the signs into town, crossing the street again and examine the beautiful old town with its picturesque buildings and the market fountain. There we treat ourselves to an ice cream at the end of the tour, before we follow the signs back to the car park, where our tour ends.
Ausrüstung

Sicherheitshinweise
Our circular tours are not walking, but hiking trails. Sturdy shoes, hiking poles and sure-footedness are recommended for all tours, particularly after and during rainfall and in the winter months, the limestone rock and soil can be very slippery, especially on slopes. We also point out the presence of natural forest hazards. We ask you to exercise caution.
In an emergency, always dial the number 112. If necessary, please mention that the people involved in the accident are in inaccessible terrain, so that the Bad Urach mountain rescue service is also informed and there is no unnecessary loss of time during the rescue.
On the hiking signposts of our trails, you will find a plaque with the exact location number on it. The location number consists of the letters BU and a max. 4-digit number. Communicating this number to the control centre in an emergency, helps to provide assistance faster.
