Magnificent half-timbered houses; a historical market square with late-Gothic fountain; Residenzschloss with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque interiors; late-Gothic St. Amandus church with monks' courtyard and the historical weavers district. History seeps through the streets of Bad Urach, particularly noteworthy are the half-timbered houses from the 15th and 16th centuries, which determine the picturesque look of the inner city. The town hall was built around 1440 and is the defining building on the beautiful market square.
